Providing ocular tissue for transplantation, medical education, and research, Lions Eye Bank of the Northeast takes great pride in bringing sight to the sightless across New York State’s Finger Lakes, Southern Tier, Central, Northern, and Northeastern regions in addition to Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Officially recognized as the Sight Society of Northeastern NY, Inc, the agency sought to re-establish the Eye Bank under the Lions moniker, with Lions Club International being the Eye Bank’s parent organization.
Working with the Eye Bank’s core leadership team, Spiral explored numerous new logo directions along side what would be the selected concept that both represented the agency’s parent organization; The Lions Club, and their core mission of sight recovery.
With a new combination mark established to represent and carry the Eye Bank forward, a simple brand guideline outlining the logo versions, color palette, typography, and usage provided the agency with direction for maintaining the Eye Bank’s brand integrity across any materials needed in promotion of their mission.
We can honestly say choosing to work with Spiral Design has been one of the best decisions we’ve made as an organization. We have made friends and built a partnership that we truly value! Their team helped us complete this task effortlessly and communication was always quick and on point! We wholeheartedly appreciate everything that Spiral has done for us! Thank you Spiral for being crazy with us and handling our unique style with compassion.
Having had an outdated and under-utilized website, the Eye Bank further engaged with Spiral to develop and design a new fully responsive, and up-to-date website that brought real-life stories of hope and compassion to the forefront.
The new website serves as both a promotional tool to inform the public and medical professionals about the Eye Bank’s services, as well as a resource to learn how to get involved with the community through highlighting the agency's latest news, events, and ways to donate or volunteer.
